What Is BreathIng Therapy?
Breathing therapy, is a healing & transformative process. It is a healing process that leads to purification from suppressed feelings and is an everlasting cleansing of the subconscious. Breathing therapy, erases the thinking patterns that are outdated for you and not serving you in the present moment. By doing this, you feel peaceful and safe. It helps you to realise and get hold of your own creativity.
On a physical level, breathing is our connection with life. We can live 30 days without food, 3 days without water whereas we die in 3 minutes without breathing. Oxygen feeds our cells, it is the fuel of our body. Nowadays it is normal that most of the people feel exhausted due to insufficient/restricted breathing. Breathing habits/patterns can be reprogrammed and our respiratory system can be reactivated.
In breath therapy, we breathe using our diaphragm muscle. Diaphragm separates our chest and abdominal cavity. When we breath in, the diaphragm muscle goes down (naturally placed underneath the rib cage like a dome) and puts pressure on our stomach. Our thorax expands for maximum oxygen intake. This muscle is actually the only muscle we need to use when breathing. Instead if we use our shoulder or back muscles, we restrict the area for breath, so we take limited oxygen.
It is found out that when we change our pattern of breathing (the depth, rhythm and pace), our mental and emotional states also change. With these changes, our perception and attitude towards life become more positive. This leads us to feel the power we have, unlock our potential, feel & express love, realise our own value, be healthy, peaceful & joyful, revive, live in the present moment, feel safe and accept everything as it is.
Connected Breathing
One of the main things that is important in breathing therapy is the breathing to be connected. Connected breathing means having no pause in between breathing in and out. As if breathing in and breathing out are just one breath. Breathe in breath out. Breathe in breathe out…
There will be such a moment when you feel as if you are not breathing but you become the breath itself. Continuing to breathe this way, you will discover your true self.
The Effects Of Connected BreathIng
PhysIcal
Helps us to use our respiratory system to the fullest capacity. Our intention is to get back to the way of breathing when we were babies. To have a full impact, the breath should be open. When our breath is open, we feel more vitality and more energetic; we get out of the bed easier and joyfully. We become more resistant to illnesses. It is also very helpful for recovering from migraine, asthma, irregular heart beats, stomach & intestines related diseases, stress, panic attack, withdrawal from addictions, depression, and etc.
Mental/EmotIonal
When we expand the capacity of our respiratory system, a high frequency energy occurs due to oxygen. All the traumas, fears and suppressed feelings are low frequency energies. This high frequency energy cleans the low frequency energy feelings and the thoughts that harm us. Briefly, we can say our subconscious is being formatted.
SpIrItual
When we start to get rid of the garbage from our subconscious; we start to understand, feel and discover ourselves more. This way, we start to get to know our spiritual side. Our being becomes meaningful. We feel the oneness.
